Jeph Loeb Speaks About the Possibility of a Daughters of the Dragon Series

After the second seasons of Luke Cage and Iron Fist, we can see that Simone Missick’s Misty Knight and Jessica Henwick’s Colleen Wing work really well together. Their teamwork in both series has raised a lot of questions, particularly if we’re ever going to see a Daughters of the Dragon spin-off series. Just as beloved as the Heroes for Hire duo of Danny and Luke, I believe fans would like a series with Colleen and Misty centric better.

In a sit-down with EW, Jeph Loeb spoke on the possibility of a spin-off:

“There are certainly great things that we could do with the characters that we have, and anywhere you go, people ask us about Daughters of the Dragon. I think that’s as much a compliment to those original characters as it is to Jessica [Henwick] and Simone [Missick]’s portrayals, so that’s a regular thought.”

Loeb went on to say that he gets asked daily if there is going to be a Daughters of the Dragon spin-off series, although; for now, it seems they are just going to concentrate on the five shows that are already out. Then again, The Punisher was a spin-off of The Punisher and Disney is about to acquire a bunch of characters after the Fox deal goes through, so we don’t know what the future entails.

We can only hope to see more Misty and Colleen in the future!
