The God of High School Hype!

There has been a lot of hype surrounding Manhwa (Korean Comics) for a while now, but this year it has been a massive topic for a lot of anime fans. From series like ‘Tower of God‘ (2020), ‘In/Spectre‘ (2020), ‘Jujutsu Kaisen‘ (2020), and ‘Noblesse,’ which released back in 2014. ‘The God of High School’ is the next Manhwa that will be adapted into anime (July 6, 2020), and trust me, you do not want to miss out on this, especially if you are a martial arts aficionado.

Crew

Seong-Hu Park will be directing The God of Highschool. Seong-Hu Park worked on ‘InuYasha: The Final Act‘ as Key animator, ‘Yuri!!! on Ice‘ also as Key Animator, director of ‘Zombieland Saga‘; Seong-Hu Park is also director of the upcoming ‘Jujutsu Kaisen.’ Seong-Hu Park, as director for God of Highschool, is excellent because he is creative, and his resume of being a key animator proves that point. The God of Highschool is under Studio Mappa who have worked on a lot of incredible anime; ‘Yuri on Ice,’ ‘Dororo,’ ‘Kakegurui,’ ‘Punchline,’ ‘Hajime no Ippo: Rising‘ and the upcoming, ‘Shingeki no Kyojin: The Final Season.‘

Next is the incredible Kuniko Iwatani will be Art director! Kuniko Iwatani worked on the background art of ‘Girl Who Leapt Through Time,’ and ‘Katanagatari. Kuniko Iwatani has been killing it for years, and now he is work on GOH. It is time to celebrate.

The last crew member I will talk about for GOH is Manabu Akita. Manabu Akita will is working on character designs for GOH. I am pretty sure this will be Manabu Akita’s first time doing character designs, which will be exciting to see animated. As of right now from the trailer, the character all look fantastic and animated well. Manabu Akita has worked on Key animation for ‘Full Metal Alchemist,’ ‘Gintama,’ and ‘Space Dandy.’

We also have Kisuke Koizumi as sound director (‘Dororo’ and ‘All Out!’), Sachiko Nishiguchi, as Art directed along with Kuniko Iwatani. Sachiko Nishiguchi is also incredible having working on ‘Your Name,’ ‘Weathering with you,’ and A Silent Voice.’
