When it was announced that Jordan Peele’s production company would be producing the new Twilight Zone reboot for CBS All Access, the only thing left in the air was if Peele himself would take part and perhaps host the show like original show creator Rod Serling had done years ago. It appears that question has been answered as Peele has confirmed that he will indeed lead his audiences into The Twilight Zone. This was verified in the coolest way possible on Peele’s Twitter account mixing Serling’s voice over and going to his. I have to admit, he sounds great.

For his part, Peele talked about the inspiration he has received from Serling’s version when talking to The Hollywood Reporter:
“Rod Serling was an uncompromising visionary who not only shed light on social issues of his time, but prophesied issues of ours,” Peele shared of his new duties with The Hollywood Reporter. “I’m honored to carry on his legacy to a new generation of audiences as the gatekeeper of The Twilight Zone.”
