Josh Brolin is Really Excited for His Future as Cable

Josh Brolin these days is the ultimate comic book film actor. He reprised his role as the Mad Titan, Thanos, for this years Avengers: Infinity War and he starred alongside Ryan Reynolds as Cable in Deadpool 2. He will return to the MCU next year as Thanos and he is all set to come back as Cable for the X-Force film. Deadpool creator Rob Liefeld recently did an interview with ComicBook.com and had some news to share regarding a conversation he had with Brolin about coming back as Cable:

“He’s like, ‘I just want to tell you, I’m really excited about X-Force … I’m really excited about my arc, I’m really excited about what my character goes.’ People then go, ‘What did he say?’ I don’t pry further. He just told me that he’s really excited about X-Force and he’s really excited about what his character does, and … revisiting Cable, and he feels that Cable has a bigger arc. And that’s what I was told, and I didn’t dig any deeper, I’ll take him at his word.”

Rob would also go on to add saying this about Brolin’s future as Cable even with Disney taking over FOX:

“You can tell when someone is legitimately excited, and he is excited to revisit Cable alongside obviously Ryan and Zazie … and hopefully they can get it done and get welcomed into the kingdom, right, because it’s all about being welcomed into the kingdom now, it’s inevitable, the Mouse is coming.”
