Justice League Annual #1 (2019)

Art by: Juan Albarran, Daniel Sampere

Cover by: Yanick Paquette

Written by:Scott Snyder, James T Tynion

“The Source Wall has degraded too much, and the League must patch the hole right now or the whole Multiverse will collapse! Our heroes scramble for a solution and turn to the only thing that might work: the Omega Titans! The only problem? They killed the Entropy Titan back in JUSTICE LEAGUE: NO JUSTICE. Whoops…but never fear! Kyle Rayner, Miss Martian and Steel—from the non-planet-eating Titans team—guest-star with a plan to create a new Entropy Titan…one that’s so crazy it just might work.” – DC Comics

The story written by Scott Snyder and James T. Tynion is getting intense with each issue. Even though there is a lot to unpack in this issue. The sense of urgency in the story is being told in a way that keeps me on my toes that being said, this was a big read with a lot of characters and so many characters; we get too caught up with certain characters, which is good but we also forget that other characters were in the issue as well which is my only complaint.

I know I have said this before, but the art as always is magnificent for the DC Comics, and Justice League Annual #1 is no different Juan Albarran, Daniel Sampere just the whole art team has done a magnificent job transitioning to one page to the next using each panel, tier, and gutter for maximum efficiency.

Final Verdict!

Even though it misses its mark on development for some characters in Justice League Annual #1 it does a great job with certain characters and the overall story that will get you excited to read the next issue, and the art is absolutely fantastic! Please go out to your local Comic Books shop, Amazon, or Dc Comics to buy your issue now.
