K-2SO Might Make An Appearance In The Upcoming Rogue One Prequel

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”15579″ img_size=”900×500″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]I am assuming by now that I am not spoiling anything when I mention that the end of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, saw the demise of the films heroes Cassian Andor (Diego Luna)and his droid companion K-2SO (Alan Tudyk). Well for fans of Cassian, he will be making his reappearance in a new prequel series which is scheduled to be on the new Disney+ streaming service. No one seems more excited about this than K-2SO ‘s Alan Tudyk which is pretty good since his character is not confirmed to be a part of the series as of yet. This hasn’t stopped Tudyk from realizing the possibilities as he told Comicbook.Com.

It’s a prequel, so it is a prequel. I love those guys, I do. I love those guys. Diego Luna is one of my favorite people on the planet. I know what they’re doing, and it’s very exciting. We talked about it.

Although Tudyk’s K-2So is not being discussed as of yet, the fact that it is a prequel certainly opens the door for that storyline. Tudyk is obviously all in for it judging by his enthusiasm for the project. The new series itself is described as “a rousing spy thriller that will explore tales filled with espionage and daring missions to restore hope to a galaxy in the grip of a ruthless Empire.”
