Keanu Reeves is certainly keeping busy and is now being eyed to star in a horror-thriller called The Hunter and the Fox, currently in development by Annapurna Pictures. The movie centers around a teenager who is visiting his father in the French Alps after his parents’ divorce. Reeves is being considered for the role of the father who has begun a relationship with a local tour guide. The teenage begins spending time with another young boy who begins to have a sinister influence on him. Timothée Chalamet is being considered for this role of the villainous friend. Of course, it wouldn’t be a horror movie without something creepy and possibly supernatural involved, but to avoid spoilers details are being kept under wraps.
The match up of Reeves and Chalamet would certainly be an interesting one, especially since Chalamet has been doing almost all dramatic roles at this point. With his acting chops, his version of the creepy friend could truly be terrifying. The actors have yet to sign on, but they are being actively pursued for the roles. If the project moves forward it has already been compared to a Stanley Kubrick style film. This has all the makings for an exciting, mind-bending thriller!
