According to Deadline, all of Marvel’s creative content will be Feige’s responsibility. Chief Creative Officer will be added to his title. This means all creative executives in both film and TV will report to him. While he’s already in charge of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, he will also oversee Marvel’s storytelling and content creation platforms. This means, also; Marvel TV and animation generation Marvel Family Entertainment will exist under Feige’s Marvel Studio banner.
The move is being finalized this week. Feige will continue to report to Walt Disney Co-Chairman and Chief Creative Officer Alan Horn and Co-Chairman Alan Bergman. With the creation of Disney+, it seems to only make sense to give Feige creative control over everything essentially.
Under Feige will be Dan Buckley as President of Marvel Entertainment, Ike Pearlmutter will remain as Chairman. It’s expected that Joe Quesada will remain as the creative lead for Marvel Entertainment and report to Buckley.
What do you think of this new structure shift?[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
