Have you ever wanted to eat out at the fictional fast food restaurant in Kevin Smith’s movie universe, Mooby’s? Now you can! Smith is teaming up with Postmates to make Mooby Meals to benefit No Us Without You, which is a fundraiser that provides meals for families in need during the COVID-19 crisis. There will also be a pop-up version of Mooby’s in Los Angeles later in the year.
Mooby’s has appeared in several films such as Dogma, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, and Clerks II. Derek Berry will back the pop up restaurant; he’s the same man behind pop ups such as Breaking Bad, Good Burger, and Saved By the Bell inspired places. Here is Smith’s Instagram post announcing Mooby Meals:
Delivery will start on Sunday, April 19th and go until April 25th. You can expect the meals to include a Mooby’s Messy Lasagne Sandwich, Hater Totz, and a Cholate Covered Pretzel. There will also be a “toy surprise”, as well as a Reboot card autographed by Smith. Those who are card-holders can be entitled to preferred seating when a pop-up restaurant finally comes to be.
Who else is excited for Mooby Meals?
