Kevin Smith Teases New Casting for Jay and Silent Bob Reboot, Including Joe Manganiello

Jay and Silent Bob are back in an upcoming reboot from Kevin Smith – the genius behind the Jay and Silent Bob and Clerks franchise. While it’s exciting enough to know Smith and Jason Mewes are coming back to reprise their roles as the iconic characters, it seems like there’s going to be some fantastic casting decisions considering the latest Instagram post by Smith.

As you can see, not only are he and Mewes dressed as their characters, we have Joe Manganiello, Craig Robinson, Frankie Shaw, Justin Long, and Jordan Monsanto joining them.

We also know that Brian O’Halloran will be joining them and MAYBE we’ll be getting Jason Lee, considering a teaser look at Brodie’s Secret Stash, which Lee’s character was the owner of. On top of this, Smith revealed that a Mooby’s will be in the film, which was the food franchise in Dogma and Clerks 2, where Dante and Randall worked once the Quickstop burnt down.

Jay and Silent Bob Reboot is expected to be released in the fall and will follow the characters as they: “return to Hollywood to stop a reboot of ‘Bluntman and Chronic’ movie from getting made.”
