Konosuba: God’s Blessing on this Wonderful World, Film Coming Soon

On Twitter today Crunchyroll announced Konosuba: God’s Blessing on this Wonderful World!! will be getting a film.

Konosuba: God’s Blessing on this Wonderful World!! Will open in Japan on August 30. Takaomi Kanasaki is returning from the previous two anime seasons to direct the film at J.C. Staff (Studio DEEN animated the two TV anime series). Makoto Uezu is returning to write the scripts, Koichi Kikuta is returning to adapt Kurone Mishima‘s original character designs for animation, and Masato Kōda is returning to compose the music. Machico will return to perform the film’s theme song. Ai KayanoRie Takahashi, and Sora Amamiya also return to perform the ending song for the film as their respective characters.

I personally have not seen Konosuba: God’s Blessing on this Wonderful World!! Yet, but trust me since the anime is on Crunchyroll. Give me a week until I finish the anime and I will give my full thoughts on this news but, right now I am excited. Because of the studio, Studio Deen, they have worked on, 2001 Fruit Basket, Fate/Stay Night, Junji Ito Collection.

The series follows a boy who is sent to a fantasy world following his death, forming a dysfunctional party with a goddess, a wizard, and a crusader to fight against monsters.
