As the many tributes to the late Scott Wilson poured in, many of them came from the cast and crew of his Walking Dead family. One of these came in the form of an Instagram post from Lauren Cohan. In her tribute post to the beloved actor who played the Greene family patriarch Hershel, it appears to be the first look at Wilson’s revisit of the character in The Walking Dead Season Nine.

The photo sees Cohan wearing a white shirt with multicolor stars and hugging Wilson, who is wearing what appears to be the same outfit worn by Hershel in Season Two, which was his debut on the series.
All of Wilson’s scenes had been filmed before his tragic death due to complications from his leukemia.
With the impending exit for Andrew Lincoln and Lauren Cohen, along with the appearance of Scott Wilson, the coming episodes of the Walking Dead might be an emotional time for all fans.
