[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”17680″ img_size=”800×450″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]There’s been no word on casting yet for Matt Reeves’ The Batman, but one actor is throwing his hat in for an iconic character. In a recent interview with HeyUGuys, actor Ralph Fiennes stated that he would love to play Alfred. In Reeves’ Batman movie, Bruce Wayne will be cast as a young actor, though; no such casting has been made yet. Still, with Fiennes having voiced Alfred in The LEGO Batman Movie and The LEGO Movie Sequel, it seems Fiennes wants to do a live-action portrayal of the famous butler:
“Yes, yes! I’d love to be Alfred! A lot of good people have gone before me, so I’d be happy to follow in their footsteps.”
With no casting announcement made just yet, maybe Reeves will want to take this into account and cast Fiennes as Alfred. The Batman will hit theaters on June 25, 2021. Who do you want to see become the next Batman?
