Lionsgate Limited Announces September 4K UHD Releases Including Works From Bill Murray, Ethan Hawke & More

Lionsgate Home Entertainment has officially announced three additions to their exciting direct-to-consumer site, Lionsgate Limited, arriving on 4K UHD Blu-Ray on September 16, 2025.

The intense sci-fi action-thriller Daybreakers will be available to own on 4K UHD Blu-Ray Steelbook for its 15th anniversary. The film, directed by The Spierig Brothers, stars Ethan Hawke, Willem Dafoe, and Sam Neill. The new release will be presented in Dolby Vision with Dolby Atmos audio with new and archival special features.

Director Ivan Reitman’s comedy classic Meatballs starring Bill Murray makes its 4K UHD debut in Dolby Vision with a new stereo mix and a newly restored original theatrical mono track. The SteelBook release comes with never-before-seen supplements and legacy special features.

Finally, the horrific drama Requiem for a Dream will return to 4K UHD Blu-Ray in a Lenticular Gift Box for its 25th anniversary. The film, directed by Darren Aronofsky, stars Ellen Burstyn, Jared Leto, Jennifer Connelly, Christopher McDonald, and Marlon Wayans. The new release will be presented in its unrated form in Dolby Vision with Dolby Atmos audio and archival special features. This premium edition gift box has an outer box that replicates a retro CRT TV set with a custom lenticular as the TV screen. Get more details about both releases below!

DAYBREAKERS Synopsis

Four-time Academy Award® nominee Ethan Hawke stars as Edward Dalton, a scientist-researcher in the midst of a global plague that has transformed most of the human population into vampires. As the ferocious Vampire Army clamors to harvest the remaining humans’ blood, Dalton reluctantly works to engineer a blood substitute for the largest supplier of blood, run by Charles Bromley (Sam Neill). When Edward encounters Cormac (Willem Dafoe), a human cured of vampirism, they team up with a group of rebel vampires to try to save humanity in this 15th-anniversary edition of the stylish and intense sci-fi action-thriller.
