Lionsgate Home Entertainment has announced that they will be releasing the critically-acclaimed A24 drama After Yang on Blu-Ray and DVD on June 21, 2022. The sci-fi film, based on the short story “Saying Goodbye to Yang,” follows a disconnected family after their A.I. helper unexpectedly breaks down. The film is written and directed by Kogonada (Columbus) and stars Colin Farrell, Jodie Turner-Smith, Justin H. Min, Malea Emma Tjandrawidjaja, and Haley Lu Richardson. Get the details below!
Synopsis: When his young daughter’s beloved companion—an android named Yang—malfunctions, Jake (Colin Farrell) searches for a way to repair him. In the process, Jake discovers the life that has been passing in front of him, reconnecting with his wife (Jodie Turner-Smith) and daughter across a distance he didn’t know was there.
