Live dealer casino tables featuring blackjack, roulette, and baccarat games

Live casinos offer three of the most widely played card and table games available online: Blackjack, Roulette, and Baccarat. Each one works differently, and understanding the mechanics of each can help you decide which one best suits how you want to play. You can find all three at real time live casino LiveScore alongside a range of other live dealer tables.

All three games share the same foundation. A trained dealer runs the game from a dedicated studio, using physical equipment streamed to your device in real time. Optical character recognition (OCR) software reads cards and results as they happen, feeding that information into a digital interface you interact with on screen. The outcomes are governed by chance throughout.

    Live Blackjack

In Live Blackjack, the aim is to build a hand closer to 21 than the dealer without going over. You’re dealt two cards and must decide how to play your hand:

    • Hit: Take another card.
    • Stand: Keep your current total.
    • Double or split: These options may be available depending on your hand and the table rules.

These choices are made within a set time window shown on screen.

The dealer follows fixed rules throughout. They must draw to a certain total and stand once they reach it, with no discretion involved. Cards are physical and dealt by hand, though OCR technology reads each one instantly, so your totals update in real time.

    Live Roulette

Live Roulette centres on a spinning wheel divided into numbered sections. Before the dealer spins, you place bets on the digital table layout. You might back:

    • A specific number.
    • A colour.
    • A group of numbers.
    • Odd or even numbers.

The range of bet types means you can keep things simple or cover more of the board.

Once the betting window closes, the dealer spins the wheel and releases the ball. Where it settles determines the outcome. You can follow the entire process on screen, from the spin to the result, with no digital animation involved.

The wheel itself is inspected and maintained in line with regulatory standards to ensure it functions consistently.

    Live Baccarat

Baccarat is one of the more straightforward live table games in terms of decision-making. Two hands are dealt: one for the Player and one for the Banker. You place a bet on which hand will finish closer to nine, or back a Tie if you think both hands will land on the same total.

    Card values work as follows:

    • Aces: One point.
    • Cards from two to nine: Face value.
    • Tens and picture cards: Zero points.

For totals of ten or more, only the last digit counts. For example, a hand totalling 15 becomes five.

A third card may be drawn for either hand depending on the totals, following a fixed set of rules rather than any dealer choice.

The pace of Baccarat tends to be quicker than Blackjack because your decisions are made before the cards are dealt. Once you’ve placed your bet, the rest unfolds automatically.

    What They Have in Common

All three games are governed by regulated rules and run by trained dealers working to approved procedures. Sessions are recorded, and the platforms they run on use encrypted connections to protect your data. Chance plays a role in every game, and previous results do not guarantee future outcomes.

If you’re choosing between them, it largely comes down to how involved you want to be in the process:

    • Blackjack: Asks for decisions mid-round.
    • Roulette: Gives you a wide range of bet types to consider.
    • Baccarat: Keeps things simple once you’ve placed your bet.
