Loki Series Confirmed To Feature Lots of Time Travel

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”22179″ img_size=”590×350″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]Disney+’s Marvel Expanding the Universe offered some really cool insight into the upcoming Marvel series. We have The Falcon and The Winter Soldier series sharing amazing concept art and possible storylines for WandaVision and Loki. In this special, the Loki executive producer Stephen Broussard teased time travel:

“There’s a huge time travel component.”

He continued:

“There will be a man on the run quality to it and we get the chance to explore more human sides of Loki.”

Remember, we last saw Loki in Avengers: Endgame (the 2012 version of him) steal the Tesseract and “get the hell out of dodge”. At this point, this Loki had not experienced the events of Thor: The Dark World, Thor: Ragnarok, and Avengers: Infinity War. This Loki was fresh off of his battle with his brother in the first Thor and clearly pressured to follow through with his mission for Thanos, which finally caught up to him in Infinity War. But, no one wants to see Loki die again, right?

Going back to the previous point, while Loki seems to always be two steps ahead, Loki clearly looked disheveled in Avengers (2012). According to executive producer Kevin Wright, we will be seeing that side of Loki:

“We’re finally going to see him on his back foot. This is him, being put in a position where he doesn’t have all the answers, and has been thrown a curveball by life.”

Who else is excited for the Loki series and can it get here already?
