Lucifer Season 5 and The One and Only Ivan Highlight New Titles Coming To Netflix and Disney+ This Friday

Summer is almost over but I want to give Netflix and Disney+ a big Thank You, for dropping new content. COVID 19 has been hard on all of us. Disney+ and Netflix have been constant in giving us so many choices on their streaming services. This Friday for many of us it’s all about Lucifer season 5 on Netflix and The One and Only Ivan on Disney+.

Netflix

Lucifer

Rescued from Fox after being given the axed is fan favorite and mine; Lucifer. It looks like we are in for a ride and it here’s to hoping it comes back strong and better than ever. First up it seems Lucifer will still be in Hell but his brother Micheal will show up in Los Angles and make some waves.  Even more exciting is this season won’t be the end.  Season 5 premieres this Friday the 21st with the first half of its 16 episodes dropping.

Hoops

Hoops is a brand new animated sitcom featuring a foul mouth and quick to lose his temper high school basketball coach. All he wants is to make to the big leagues. If he can only turn his horrible team around he thinks he could just make it to the big time. The show has an awesome comedic cast with the likes of Jake Johnson, Rob Riggle, Natasha Leggero, and Ron Funches. Hoops looks to be hilarious and a lot of fun be sure to check it out.

The One and Only Ivan

Ivan (Sam Rockwell) is gorilla trapped in a cage at the Exit 8 Big Top Mall and Video Arcade. He teams up with a caring elephant named Stella (Angelina Jolie), to piece together his mysterious past and hatch a plan to escape from their shared captivity. My family has been waiting for this, my children grew up seeing Ivan at Zoo Atlanta after being rescued. Previews and some reviews have me worried, but I’m will to give Disney the chance.

Beauty and the Beast

The 2017 live-action reboot of Beauty and the Beast is on my list of for afternoon movie with my grandson next week. Having not seen it yet I’m looking forward to seeing Emma Watsons’ portrayal of Belle.  Beauty and the Beast grossed over a billion dollars in the box office. Fans are sure to tune in and check it out.
