Two people stand inside a rocky cave, looking up toward the light. Both wear casual clothes and carry bags. The cave walls are textured and lit by natural light.

Magnet Releasing and Magnolia Home Entertainment have announced that the horror-folk thriller Rabbit Trap will debut on Blu-Ray, DVD, and On Demand on December 9, 2025. Directed by Bryn Chainey, the film stars Dev Patel, Rosy McEwen, and Jade Croot. The film premiered in the Midnight section at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival. Get the details below:

Synopsis: Darcy (Dev Patel, Slumdog Millionaire) and Daphne (Rosy McEwen, The Alienist) Davenport are freshly decamped from London and taking up residence in an isolated cottage deep in the Welsh countryside in search of creative renewal and acoustic inspiration. When the couple set about exploring their new environs, recording instruments in tow, Darcy stumbles upon a “faerie circle” that emits a strange, unidentifiable frequency; this odd discovery is followed closely by the appearance of an otherworldly child (Jade Croot, Sacrifice) who claims to live nearby and is eager to befriend the Davenports. Soon the child becomes a fixture in their household, alternately ingratiating himself and raising suspicions, and exposing unacknowledged rifts and unexamined secrets that threaten to wreak psychological and spiritual havoc in the lives of his makeshift adoptive parents.

Blu-ray cover for "Rabbit Trap," featuring a close-up of a man's face looking up, with the names Dev Patel, Rosy McEwen, and Jade Croot listed at the top.
