    Magnet To Release Award-Winning Sci-Fi Thriller ‘The Animal Kingdom’ On Blu-Ray This June

    Magnet Releasing and Magnolia Home Entertainment have announced that the sci-fi thriller The Animal Kingdom will debut on Blu-Ray, DVD, and On Demand on June 11, 2024. Written by Thomas Cailley and Pauline Munier and directed by Cailley (Love at First Fight), the film stars Romain Duris (The Spanish Apartment), Paul Kircher (Winter Boy), and Adèle Exarchopoulos (Blue Is The Warmest Colour).

    The film had its world premiere as the opening film of the Un Certain Regard section at the 76th Cannes Film Festival. It received a leading 12 nominations at the 49th César Awards, and won 5 awards: Best Cinematography, Best Sound, Best Original Music, Best Costume Design and Best Visual Effects.     Synopsis: In THE ANIMAL KINGDOM, a visionary new thriller that drops viewers into an extraordinary world where mutations in human genetics cause people to transform into hybrid creatures, François (Roman Duris) does everything he can to save his wife, who is affected by this mysterious condition. As some of the creatures disappear into a nearby forest, François embarks with Emile (Paul Kircher), their 16-year-old son, on a quest to find her with help from a local police officer (Adèle Exarchopoulos).
