Magnolia Home Entertainment has announced that the live-stage capture of the Tony-nominated, record-breaking Broadway play Good Night and Good Luck: Live From Broadway will debut on Blu-Ray, DVD, and Digital on December 30, 2025. The Broadway play adaptation is based on the acclaimed 2005 historical drama film and was written by George Clooney and Grant Heslov, who directed and wrote the original film. Get the details below!
Synopsis: Set in the early 1950s at the height of the Red Scare, Senator Joseph McCarthy is blacklisting anyone suspicious of having Communist ties, projecting fear and silence into the media. Journalist Edward R. Murrow (George Clooney) takes a stand and calls out McCarthy using his national news platform. Defying government pressure and risking his career, safety, and reputation, Good Night and Good Luck: Live From Broadway follows Murrow as he delivers a powerful challenge to political corruption and the erosion of free speech.
