Go ahead, we won’t judge. Play the game and then come back to us.
As for the rest of you, let’s continue. Insomniac Games Spider–Man for the PS4 has been a monster hit for the company. So much so that a sequel is already in the works, however there was an event in the game that Marvel was not initially sold on. In fact, they disliked the idea.
The reasoning is understandable. Aunt May has been a part of Peter Parker’s world since his original appearance in Amazing Fantasy #15. Through multiple comics, animated features, and multiple feature films, the character of Aunt May has been there. So when Insomniac proposed the idea of killing Aunt May in the end game, Marvel was reluctant to say the least. They eventually agreed and it was a powerful moment in the game. As those who play the game will see.
How did you feel about the death of Aunt May? Should it have happened or do you feel it was unnecessary? Share your thoughts with us at GVNation.
