Marvel’s Kevin Feige Talks About the Possibility of a Southeast Asian Superhero on Disney+

In case you didn’t know, there are some countries across the world that don’t have access to the streaming service Disney+. Such as Singapore. That will change later this month when Singapore will get access to the service.

In a recent press junket with Marvel Studios’ President Kevin Feige, Feige was asked if it was: “high time we get a Southeast Asian Marvel superhero on Disney+.”

Feige responded:

“I think it is. And I think you won’t have to wait there very long at all. We’ve announced a number of shows and we’ve got more in the works.”

Could one of the shows be Agents of Atlas? Murphy’s Multiverse reported on 2019 breathing new life into the South Asian team. The story saw Jimmy Woo putting together a team of Asian heroes. With Jimmy Woo returning in WandaVision and Shang-Chi coming out this year, could we see more Asian projects? Including Agents of Atlas?

Is Agents of Atlas something you’d like to see?
