MASTERPIECE has reimagined a classic character for a modern audience with the thrilling new series Maigret. The mystery series based on the iconic detective novels is written and produced by Patrick Harbinson (Homeland, 24). The new outing stars Benjamin Wainwright, Stefanie Martini, Blake Harrison, Reda Elazouar, Kerrie Hayes, Shaniqua Okwok, Rob Kazinsky, and Nathalie Armin.
The series is currently rolling out on MASTERPIECE Mystery! on PBS, with new episodes airing Sundays at 9/8c through November 9th. It is also available to stream via PBS and PBS MASTERPIECE on Prime Video. As the series unfolds, Maigret moves far beyond the conventions of an action-thriller, becoming a more psychological and character-driven investigation where the performances shine – grounded and layered, perfectly attuned to the series’ sharp, human writing. The result: a captivating intellectual and emotional ride as Chief Inspector Maigret and his team piece together a series of tightly woven mysteries, each one more gripping than the last.
