Like the solo Joker film, The Batman would break away from the DCEU and Matt Reeves has expressed wanting a younger version of Bruce Wayne. This, of course; upsets those who like Ben Affleck as Batman, as they feel it’s simply propaganda against the actor. But, considering Affleck’s Batman is meant to be seasoned, it could be that Reeves and the studio simply want to turn back the clock and focus on a younger Caped Crusader for a longer running time. As of right now, it’s unsure if Affleck’s Batman will return.
There are no plans as of yet for a production of a Reeves’s film, but we will let you know the more we find out!
