The Asset is an upcoming action-thriller that comes from director Martin Campbell and Millennium Media.
The Asset stars Michael Keaton, Samuel L. Jackson, and Maggie Q. The Equalizer 2 writer Richard Wenk has written the script, which is about Rembrandt (Keaton) and Anna (Maggie Q). As the two top premier assassins, both share a mysterious past from Vietnam. They trek the globe for years, competing for high-profile contracts. Things change when Anna’s mentor Moody, played by Jackson; is murdered. Now Anna and Rembrandt must come together to return to Vietnam to find out who killed Moody.
Millennium is launching the project at AFM this week and production is set to begin on January 8th of 2020. Filming will take place in London, Bucharest, and DaNang, Vietnam.
