Michael Rosenbaum, Tom Welling, and Ian Somerhalder Reunite at Wizard Con

While we now have the Arroverse and a current TV Superman and a movie rendition of the Man of Steel, no one can deny that one of the best adaptations of Clark Kent was CW’s Smallville. Serving as the second longest running show on the network, after Supernatural; the show may have ended in 2011, but people still count it as a must-watch for any DC fans.

Recently, former co-stars Michael Rosenbaum, Tom Welling, and Ian Somerhalder reunited for a pic at the Wizard World Chicago convention. Seeing these actors together is surely enough to make fans plead for a revival, as the show was just that good and it seems like revivals are big these days. Either way, it is fun to see them all together, each actor having gone into other, well-known projects.

While a live-action reboot is unlikely, it seems that some would be up for an animated series.

“I said to Al [Gough, Smallville co-creator], we should do an animated Smallville. That would be huge! I mean, Smallville: The Animated Series, with all the real voices? And I wouldn’t have to shave my head! We’ve got to do that. Can you imagine us on mics doing the same dialogue?” – Rosenbaum stated.

What do you think? Would you want an animated Smallville series?
