Morgan Freeman and Ruby Rose are teaming up for George Gallo’s action-thriller, Vanquish. The two will star in the film which is currently filming in Biloxi, Mississippi. Freeman will play a retired police commissioner who ends up blackmailing his caretaker, played by Ruby Rose; by kidnapping her daughter. This forces Rose’s character in assisting Freeman’s character in double-crossing his team of crooked detectives. All this is done to help clean up the city.
Gallo’s screenplay was co-written by Samuel Bartlett from a Bartlett original story. The film was previously known as The Longest Night. The supporting cast includes Nick Vallelonga, Miles Doleac, Patrick Muldoon, Juju Journey Brener and Julie Lott.

“I have always wanted to do a tight and stylish action thriller. This is going to be a real fun ride and with performances by Morgan Freeman and Ruby Rose, the film is elevated to a higher level.”
