    Driving in an official race is very challenging, and making a name for yourself in this competitive world is an achievement of its own. That is why we cherish all motorsports drivers in the world who have achieved something. 

    Be it winning F1 matches or winning the hardest 24 Hours of Le Mans and the Daytona 500, we admire all drivers who participate in these tournaments.

    Top Motorsports Legends Drivers in the World Who Redefined History

    They were selected not just because of the number of tournaments won but also the legacy they have left behind for the future generation of drivers. So read below to know their names and achievements. 

    Juan Manuel Fangio

    If you are into video games and love winning F1 races in games, then Juan must be your hero. He was a driver who was well known for his performance in Formula 1 racing in the 1950s. He won five F1  World Championships with four teams: Alfa Romeo, Mercedes, Ferrari, and Maserati. Fangio belonged to Argentina and was known for his strategic approach to driving.

    Ayrton Senna

    Back in the day, there were limited Brazilian motorsports drivers in the world, and Senna was among the top drivers of his time. He won three Formula 1 World Championships while driving a McLaren. His performance in the 1988 Monaco Grand Prix qualifying lap made headlines.

    Michael Schumacher

    He’s a legendary German driver who took the world by storm, winning seven Formula 1 World Championships, five of them in a row with Ferrari! There was a time when he drove, and people started betting on him to win. It was a rumour among punters that when Michael drove, he would surely win! With Schumacher, Ferrari became one of the highest-selling car companies in the early 2000s.

    Tazio Nuvolari

    Have you ever seen someone beating modern cars using an older machine?

    Tazio’s most famous victory was at the 1935 Großer Preis von Deutschland. In that match, he surprised everyone, including the audience, when he defeated superior German cars with his older Alfa Romeo.

    Stirling Moss

    Can you name the skilled driver who never won an F1 race but won 16 GPs?

    Moss was a British driver who tasted 16 Grand Prix victories! He was regarded as the driver who never won an F1 World Championship. He was also into rally racing. He participated in 529 events between 1947 and 1962 and won 212 races.

    Lewis Hamilton

    He has won seven Formula 1 World Championships. His total match-win record is 105. He won 84 races while driving a Mercedes. 

    Jackie Stewart

    A Scottish driver who won three Formula 1 World Championships. He was invested in improving the safety standards in racing. His efforts made the sport safer for future generations of drivers.

    A.J. Foyt

    The four-time winner of the Indianapolis 500, Mr. Foyt is a role model for millions of motorsports fans. The IndyCar championships trophy was won by him seven times. Also, he won at the most difficult racing events of all time, the 24 Hours of Le Mans and the Daytona 500.
