Movie Review: ‘CHRISTOPHER ROBIN’

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”2578″ img_size=”800×500″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]If you ever told me that there would be a live action Winnie the Pooh film I would have told you, “You’re crazy! That would be a stupid idea.” Well, here we are with Christopher Robin, a beautiful tribute to the book.

As I was watching Christopher Robin I couldn’t help but think about losing my since of imagination and become boring, like most people in this world, just working to survive. This film made me realize how lucky I am to be with the fandom I am with and to have the family that I have. Throughout this film Christopher has to remember what is most important in his life.

The weakness of this film is the first ten minutes. I feel that it could have been cut out. There wasn’t a need to see him as child to me. Also, Christopher Robin’s neighbor wasn’t necessary at all. I would’ve taken that two minutes off screen time and gave to Winnie the Pooh and the others.

Christopher Robin is 7.5/10. I am happy with the outcome of this film! Great performances from Ewan McGregor (Christopher Robin), Hayley Atwell (Evelyn Robin), and Bronte Carmichael (Madeline Robin) and the computer animation… Perfection![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
