Scoot McNairy narrates the extended teaser trailer. At the head of the table is Diego Luna’s Felix Gallardo. While he’s currently the leader of the Guadalajara cartel, McNairy’s narration may have hinted at historical events. We already know that McNairy’s DEA Walt Breslin character will be leading Operation Leyenda, in retaliation to the death of Kiki Camarena.

Will Narcos: Mexico season two also explore the real-life rise of El Chapo? Who historically usurped Felix and went on to become one of the most notorious drug dealers the world has ever seen?

I do wish we would get a full-length trailer, but I am happy with any Narcos: Mexico content. The second season hits Netflix on February 13th.
