Among all the bad news surrounds COVID-19 and those impacted, there is good news in the rubble. Star Wars and Narcos: Mexico star Diego Luna reveals that his son Jeronimo and daughter Fiona had been infected with the coronavirus. Jeronimo is eleven and Fiona is nine. Luckily, the two children have recovered and after three weeks in quarantine, have returned home.
During a Q&A with IndieWire via Instagram, Luna expressed his delight for being reunited with his children:
“I want to start by saying this, it’s why I look so happy in such weird times, my kids had the virus long ago and they just were allowed to come home. They’re immune now, they’re in the next stage. Yesterday was the first night they slept here and life has changed dramatically for me.”
Luna spoke of the difficult experience he was in when his children were away:
“I was like three weeks not being able to hug them or get close to them, and finally I am.”
We’re very happy to hear that Luna’s children have recovered and can only hope for the safe outcome for many affected by COVID-19.
