It’s a good day to be a fan of The Blacklist. NBC has renewed the critically-acclaimed series for an eighth season. This is the second year that the series has been renewed early. Deadline reports that there are no plans for the right season to be the final season, so The Blacklist could easily keep going.
The entire cast will be reprising their roles for season eight.
Lisa Katz and Tracey Pakosta, Co-Presidents of Scripted Programming, NBC Entertainment put out a statement:
“Congratulations to our incredible cast, producers and crew, all of whom continue to reach excellence week in and week out. We couldn’t be more excited to continue Red and Liz’s story into season eight.”
