This drama centers around the passengers of an airplane that one day took off into the air and landed as normal, except what the passengers were blissfully unaware of is they had been missing for five years and presumed dead by their loved ones. When the plane lands, those on board believe it was a normal flight, but they soon learn the truth. Manifest has been very popular across the board, to which co-presidents of scripted programming at NBC Entertainment, Lisa Katz and Tracey Pakosta commented on:
“In just its first season, Manifest has answered many questions about the mystery of Flight 828 and, smartly, asks many more. Congratulations to [creator] Jeff Rake, our producers, cast and crew who have created an incredibly addictive series with compelling characters and complex relationships.”
