Netflix, the streaming powerhouse, has inked a groundbreaking deal with AMC Networks, securing several of the network’s major titles. This collaboration promises to be a treat for binge-watchers, as Netflix will host AMC’s top shows, including the much-anticipated “Interview with the Vampire” and “The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon.” According to Netflix Tudum, audiences can expect to “devour” these series starting next month.

Major AMC Hits Landing on Netflix

This exciting deal will see a variety of AMC’s hit series available on Netflix for U.S. viewers starting August 19. The lineup includes:

    • The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon (Season 1)
    • Fear the Walking Dead (Seasons 1-8)
    • Gangs of London (Seasons 1 and 2)
    • Into the Badlands (Seasons 1-3)
    • Kevin Can F* Himself** (Seasons 1 and 2)
    • Preacher (Seasons 1-4)
    • That Dirty Black Bag (Season 1)
    • The Terror (Season 1)
    • Anne Rice’s Mayfair Witches (Season 1)
    • Monsieur Spade (Season 1)
    • A Discovery of Witches (Seasons 1-3)
    • Dark Winds (Seasons 1 and 2)

Moreover, the undead saga continues as The Walking Dead: Dead City (Season 1) and The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live (Season 1) are scheduled to join Netflix on January 13, 2025.

    AMC’s Strategic Move with Netflix

This partnership is not AMC’s first venture into the streaming world. Previously, AMC collaborated with Max, introducing “Fear the Walking Dead” and six other shows to the platform. This move successfully redirected traffic back to AMC’s platforms, showcasing the potential benefits of such alliances.

Kristin Dolan, CEO of AMC Networks, expressed optimism about the new deal, stating, “This agreement puts our high-quality shows in front of the vast audience of Netflix subscribers with the AMC brand clearly represented. These curated titles are also being strategically windowed to drive interest in current and upcoming seasons on our direct-to-consumer and partner platforms.” Dolan believes that this significant expansion of their relationship with Netflix will not only drive viewership and engagement on Netflix but also raise awareness and interest in AMC’s award-winning content across various platforms.

    What This Means for Viewers

For viewers, this collaboration means access to a treasure trove of critically acclaimed series and fan favorites. Whether you’re a fan of vampire tales, post-apocalyptic dramas, or supernatural thrillers, there’s something for everyone in this expansive collection. With Netflix’s vast subscriber base and AMC’s rich library of content, this partnership is poised to deliver an unmatched streaming experience.

Mark your calendars for August 19 and January 13, 2025, to dive into these exceptional AMC titles on Netflix. This collaboration promises to be a binge-worthy affair, bringing some of the best in television to your screens.
