Netflix Delays Season 3 of ‘Stranger Things’

First we have to wait an entire year to see the final season of Game of Thrones, but now we are going to have wait even longer for the third season of Netflix’s hit show, Stranger Things. While making their rounds during the Television Critics Association, Netflix announced that Stranger Things will not debut until Summer 2019. TVLine caught up with the VP of Original Content, Cindy Holland who had this to say:

“It’s a handcrafted show. [Exec producers] The Duffer brothers and Shawn Levy have worked really hard, and they understand the stakes are high. They want to deliver something bigger and better than what they did last year. And so they really want to take the time to get it right.”

“I think it’s going to be a fantastic season, It’s gonna be worth the wait.”

Sounds like they really want to take their time and give us all the best season of Stranger Things yet. How do you feel about this news? Did you hope to visit Hawkins a little earlier or are you ok with the summer release? Drop us a comment below or give us a follow over on Twitter @GeekVibesNation.

If they move the release date to around Halloween, then I’ll be cool with it. The series fits better for that season

I think that would work as well if the time line of the show fits. Halloween does seem a better theme for it though
