They say April showers bring May Flowers. Well for Netflix it means adding at least 90 titles in May, including the long-delayed thriller “The Woman in the Window”. Starring Amy Adams as an agoraphobic psychologist the film was sold to Netflix for distribution due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Originally it was to have a theatrical release in May 2020 but it will now premiere on the platform May 14.
Also coming to the streaming service in May is an adaptation of a book about a Harlem honors student whose life suddenly changes when he’s charged with felony murder. “Monster” first debuted at Sundance Film Festival in 2018, but Netflix acquired distribution rights in 2020.
If you are a fan of “Back to the Future” you will be excited to know that all three extremely popular movies will be streaming this month. Also for all horror junkies out there, you can look forward to Season 3 of the series “Haunted” coming to the platform.
Finally what so many of us have been waiting for. Lucifer Season 5 Part 2 releases on May 28th. What will happen? Who knows but I am counting down the days! Lucifer has become such a better show since moving to Netflix and I know they won’t let us down.
