The fun ten-episode show is based on a superhero comic by Gerard Way and Gabriel Ba, which tells of seven unique children who grow up to be disenchanted adults, who then have to come together in order to prevent the end of the world.
Viewers may not have to wait that much longer as Netflix is already searching for shooting locations for the sophomore season. According to Screen Rant, the show is looking at residential properties, farms, and farmhouses in rural Southern Ontario. Cinespace Studio is the one looking, who has apparently rented over 150,000 square feet from Netflix’s downtown Toronto-based studio. Season one was primarily shot in Toronto and Hamilton. With a more rural landscape, perhaps we’ll be finding out more about Sir Reginald’s origins? Or maybe we’ll finally find out more about the other children born on the same day as the seven siblings.
