Netflix’s Upcoming Ratched Series Adds Rosanna Arquette

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”15072″ img_size=”800×450″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]Netflix’s upcoming series Ratched has a new cast member joining the drama series that will document Nurse Ratched decline into the villain she was in One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest. Main star Sarah Paulson announced that actress Rosanna Arquette has joined for a “multi-episode arc” and she will be joining the likes of other talented actors for this Ryan Murphy show.

Arquette has stated that it has bee difficult for her to find work since she spoke out against Harvey Weinstein, so having her alongside Paulson, with Paulson’s full support, is great to see. Paulson states:

“I am producing a new Netflix show, ‘Ratched’ with Ryan Murphy and we decided this could not stand. Her body of work -from Desperately Seeking Susan to Pulp Fiction and beyond, has always been deeply inspiring to both of us.”

She continued:

“I say with great pride- welcome to our family, Rosanna. I am thrilled to be in a position, due to the empowerment of my friend and collaborator, Ryan Murphy, not to just act in a piece, but hire the talent showcased in it, as well.”

Ratched will also include: Sharon Stone, Cynthia Nixon, Finn Wittrock, Jon Jon Briones, Charlie Carver, Judy Davis, Harriet Harris, Hunter Parrish, Amanda Plummer, and Corey Stoll.
