NetherRealm Studios Announces Gameplay Reveal Soon as Well as a New Look For Scorpion

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”13514″ img_size=”665×375″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]NetherRealm Studios is really starting to pick up the pace with Mortal Kombat 11 not only revealing a brand new look for Scorpion (Image below) but also announcing a story, character, feature, and gameplay reveal set for January 17.

Scorpion is not only a fan favorite character within Mortal Kombat fans but is one of the most recognizable characters in all of gaming even to people who have no idea what Mortal Kombat is. Well, now NetherRealms golden boy is shaping up for some big changes in the upcoming installment with there being multiple versions of the character due to timeline manipulation. These changes, however, appear to be simply cosmetic as all versions of the character will be kicking ass in the same brutal fashion.

NetherRealm announced the reveal over on Twitter to the delight of many fans who are dying to learn more about the latest installment and hopefully will have all or at least most of the questions answered.

I think most fans will be excited about finally getting a confirmed character roster, or at least part of one especially after various supposed “leaks” have been floating around. As for any confirmations, we already have, well Raiden and Scorpion are both already confirmed due to The Game Awards trailer as well as a brand new character we haven’t met yet.

With Mortal Kombat 11 just a few months away it will be cool to finally get some confirmations and reveals regarding characters and story and I’m personally excited to see what sort of new cosmetics we’ll be getting thanks to all this timeline trouble. Be sure to keep it here at GeekVibesNation for all things gaming and check back in a few days for a full breakdown of the official reveal come January 17.
