Back in September of last year, the body of 14-year-old Celeste Rivas was found in the trunk of singer D4vd’s Tesla. The 20-year-old artist had a promising music career stemming from online recognition that resulted in his music being featured in the popular video game Fortnite. D4vd’s connection with the victim Celeste can be documented in online documentaries like the one done by YouTuber Turkey Tom, but besides that, D4vd was not initially considered a person of interest in this case. That has changed.
And there has been an additional arrest in connection to this case. Neo Langston, who is a social media influencer close to D4vd; was just arrested after he failed to testify. His bail was $60,000, which he met. Private investigator Steve Fischer spoke with Jesse Webber, who is often featured on the YouTube channel Law & Crime; informing him that this new information worries him.
“Neo is a person who was around (D4vd) a lot, and if he was subpoenaed as a witness, that worries me a little bit, because, you know, targets typically won’t be called before a grand jury, or they would plead the Fifth.”
Fischer feels that this may be an indication that a deal might happen soon.
“So if they need (Langston) _ as a witness, that makes me think that (D4vd) might be being offered a deal.”
Rivas’ body was found in D4vd’s Tesla after it had been sitting in a parking lot for weeks. Rivas weighed only 71 pounds upon her body’s discovery and had a “shhh” tattoo on her finger; the significance of such a tattoo could link her to D4vd – as outlined in Turkey Tom’s documentary on the singer.
