Disney’s latest film, Raya and the Last Dragon will be going to Disney+ Premier Access this March and during a press day event, Geeks of Color, was able to find out some additional details about the cast. Marvel’s Gemma Chan has joined the cast along with fellow Marvel co-star, Benedict Wong. Joining them are Daniel Dae Kim (Hellboy), Thalia Tran and Izaac Wang.
A little bit about who these cast members will be playing
- Gemma Chan will be playing the antagonist, Namaari.
- Izaac Wang will portray Boun – He’s an adult in a kid’s body, and yet there are moments of showing his vulnerability. And he’s also fun and he’s also a little sassy.
- Daniel Dae Kim will play Benja, Raya’s father
- Benedict Wong will play as Tong
- Talia Tran will portray Little Noi
This rounds out the new cast members who will be joining Kelly Marie Tran in the lead role as Raya. Are you excited to watch Raya and the Last Dragon?
