The Green Lantern Corps may have been just a glimpse on-screen in Zack Snyder’s Justice League cut, but the group is getting their own time to shine in an HBO Max show.
You can’t have a Green Lantern Corps show without featuring Thaal Sinestro. According to Knight Edge Media, there’s a casting call for this role that leads into some information we can expect from the show. According to the outlet, the listing is looking for a male actor in his early to late forties. The ethnicity is open and according to the listing, the character is described as the “greatest Lantern in existence” and a “warrior monk”.

The greatest of all the Green Lanterns, Sinestro is akin to a warrior monk, the personification of grace under pressure. He serves as the strategic commander for the Corps and all Lanterns follow his orders without question.
