New Details Revealed For Amazon Prime’s ‘SILK’ Series

While Disney has its Marvel shows on Disney+, Sony is teaming up with Amazon Prime for a spin-off show to their Spider-Verse world they’re building. First up, Silk. According to the Illuminerdi, a Silk series is in “aggressive” development. Chris Miller and Phil Lord are set to produce.

The details we have is that the lead role to the show will be a Korean-American woman, in between the age of 19 and 29. Silk finds herself on her own for the first time in Queens and is pretty much a rookie in the vigilante arena. She loves 80s and 90s pop culture. And “struggles with her identity and heritage”.

Sang Kyu Kim will serve as the showrunner and EP for Silk. It’s also reported that Adeline Rudolph is highly likely to grab the lead role. We will let you know as we find out more.

What do you think of Silk being developed at Amazon Prime?
