Now we have another to look forward to from David Ayer, Chris Long, and Tucker Tooley. These two are teaming up with their production companies to produce Major Crimes. This upcoming series will be an anthology show that will follow the craziest heists, robberies, and over all crimes in the Los Angeles history. The Wire and The Sopranos’ Chris Collins will pen the project and also serve as the showrunner. Christian Gudegast, who was the writer and director for 2018’s Den of Thieves; will direct several of the episodes. Ayer is also expected to direct a few episodes.

Tooley commented [in regards to Gudegast]:

Ayer and Long added:

Gudegast commented:

He and his partner Chris share Tucker and my passion for telling authentic stories that examine the endlessly fascinating criminal landscapes of Southern California, which we believe to be the world capital of gangsterism.”
