We got some good news from the upcoming Todd McFarlane directed Spawn film. The creator/director posted on his Instagram page that the movie would soon be getting financing
This will be McFarlane’s first time behind the directors chair. The film stars Jamie Foxx as the titular character with Jeremy Renner signed on to play Detective Twitch Williams. ComicBook.com reported a few months back that The Walking Dead VFX artist Greg Nicotero had signed on as well. Blumhouse is set to produce but as of writing the film still does not have a distrbutor for the film.
Filming is set to being in June 2019.
