[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”22386″ img_size=”800×450″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]Driven is an upcoming film, based on true events; that takes a look at a “bromance gone bad”. Driven is set in the early 1980s in California as it follows the “meteoric rise” of John DeLorean (Lee Pace) befriending a charming ex-con who turns into an FBI informant, Jim Hoffman who is played by Jason Sudeikis.
Hoffman leads DeLorean (yes, from the DeLorean Motor Company) into a government cocaine trafficking ring, which DeLorean falls prey to considering the $17 million that he needs to keep his company afloat. Along with Pace and Sudeikis, Driven stars Isabel Arraiza as Cristina Ferrare – DeLorean’s wife, Judy Greer as Hoffman’s wife, and Corey Stoll as FBI agent Benedict Tissa.
Having premiered at Venice Film Festival and TIFF, Driven has been purchased by Universal Home Entertainment Content Group and will hit theaters on August 16th of this year.
