Penned by J.A. White, the book centers on a boy named Alex who is obsessed with scary stories and eventually finds himself trapped inside the New York apartment of a witch. As he searches for a way out, the only thing keeping him safe is “his original hair-raising tales.”
The film is set to be produced by Raimi along with Rob Tapert of Ghost House Pictures and MXN Entertainment’s Mason Novick and Michelle Knudsen. Helming the screenplay will be Daughtry and Iaconis, whose recent credits include Five Feet Apart and The Curse of La Llorona.
No release date has yet been set for it.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
