For the week of April 1st, we have some incredible releases making their way to our shelves. Read on to get a brief overview of what you should have on your wishlist, then be sure to dive into the full rundown in the video below.

This week we spotlight two recent Best Picture nominees debuting on 4K UHD Blu-Ray. The Bob Dylan biopic A Complete Unknown starring Timothée Chalamet arrives with Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos audio from Searchlight Pictures with a four-part making-of featurette and an audio commentary track with director James Mangold. Over at A24, we have the Oscar-winning epic The Brutalist starring Adrien Brody on 4K UHD Blu-Ray in SDR with a commentary track and a featurette. While it may not have secured any Oscar nominations, A24 also brings the erotic drama Babygirl starring Nicole Kidman to 4K UHD Blu-Ray with Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos audio. This release includes numerous special features such as a commentary track, featurettes, deleted scenes, and more.

We have some big releases from Universal arriving fresh from theaters. The action-comedy outing Love Hurts starring Ke Huy Quan and Ariana DeBose hits 4K UHD Blu-Ray in Dolby Vision with Dolby Atmos audio and a handful of supplemental features. The studio also has the animated family film Dog Man coming to Blu-Ray with a good number of special features including a commentary track. Warner Bros. has the sci-fi horror feature Companion on 4K UHD Blu-Ray in HDR10 with Dolby Atmos audio and a smattering of featurettes. Lionsgate has the Mark Wahlberg airplane thriller Flight Risk on 4K UHD Blu-Ray in HDR10 with Dolby Atmos audio.

Those with an affection for independent cinema will want to seek out the heartfelt drama Good Bad Things on Blu-Ray courtesy of Music Box Films. The release comes with some substantial supplements including two post-screening discussions and an hour-long interview with the creatives. Television fans have something to cheer as Abbott Elementary: Season Three arrives on DVD courtesy of Warner Bros. with all 13 hilarious episodes from the Emmy-nominated season.

Thriller and mystery fans have a lot to celebrate this week including the 4K UHD Blu-Ray debut of the cult favorite Blue Sunshine. The Synapse Films release arrives in a gorgeous package with a 4K restoration of the Original Camera Negative with Dolby Vision and an avalanche of supplements including two commentary tracks, interviews, Q&As, short films, and more. Eureka Entertainment shows off with one of the standout box sets of the early year with Mabuse Lives! Dr Mabuse At CCC: 1960-1964. The Blu-Ray set includes six mystery crime films restored in 2K with commentary tracks, interviews, video essays, and more. Not to be outdone, Radiance Films has the impressive Hardboiled: Three Pulp Thrillers By Alain Corneau on Blu-Ray. This set features three gripping French films restored by StudioCanal with supplements such as commentary tracks, interviews, video essays, and more.

It is a huge month for Arrow Video as they unleash some impressive 4K UHD and Blu-Ray releases. One of the biggest releases of the month is the 4K UHD Blu-Ray debut of The Long Kiss Goodnight. The action-packed film starring Geena Davis and Samuel L. Jackson gets the upgrade it deserves with a new 4K restoration of the Original Camera Negative with Dolby Vision, a Dolby Atmos track, and an entire disc of special features. They put in just as much effort with the astounding action box set V-Cinema Essentials: Bullets & Betrayal. The Blu-Ray set comes with nine direct-to-video action films remastered by Toei, loaded with special features such as interviews, video essays, and more.
