For the week of February 10th, we have some incredible releases making their way to our shelves. Read on to get a brief overview of what you should have on your wishlist, then be sure to dive into the full rundown in the video below.
This week, we spotlight the long-awaited Blu-Ray debut of the cult comedy favorite Mystery Team starring DC Pierson, Dominic Dierkes, and Donald Glover courtesy of Lionsgate Limited. The new release comes with Dolby TrueHD 5.1 audio and an array of special features, including a new documentary and Q&A, plus numerous archival supplements such as a commentary track. This is not the only surprising Blu-Ray debut, as the Diane Keaton directorial effort Heaven arrives newly remastered from Lightyear Entertainment. The unique documentary takes a look at the afterlife, and the release includes a trailer as the lone supplement.
Arrow Video has an amazing slate this month, beginning with the highly anticipated 4K UHD Blu-Ray debut of the ’80s fantasy epic Excalibur from director John Boorman. The release comes from a 4K restoration of the 35mm Original Camera Negative presented in Dolby Vision with two audio options. The special features include an alternate TV Cut of the film, three commentary tracks, featurettes, interviews, and more. The label has another 4K UHD debut with Westworld from director Michael Crichton and starring Yul Brynner, Richard Benjamin, and James Brolin. The release has received a 4K restoration of the 35mm Original Camera Negative that is presented in Dolby Vision with four audio options. This release brings a ton of supplements including a commentary track, new interviews, video essays, the pilot for Beyond Westworld, and more.
The label also has the action drama American Yakuza starring Viggo Mortensen on Blu-Ray. The release comes from a 2K restoration of the Original Camera Negative conducted by Toei and includes a commentary track, interviews, and more. Finally, the label has the 4K UHD debut of the 1979 sci-fi horror film The Visitor starring Mel Ferrer, Glenn Ford, Lance Henriksen, John Huston, and more. The release features the European version of the film with a 4K restoration of the Original Camera Negative presented in Dolby Vision. The release comes with a commentary track, video essay, new interviews, and more.

Fans of ’90s action cinema are checking off major wishlist titles with the 4K UHD Blu-Ray debut of Double Impact and Knock Off starring Jean-Claude Van Damme, courtesy of MVD Entertainment. Both of these titles are derived from a 4K scan of the Original Camera Negative with HDR10 and come with making-of documentaries, featurettes, deleted scenes, and more. The label also has the reggae docufiction film Rockers on 4K UHD Blu-Ray from a 4K scan of the Original Camera Negative with HDR10. The release comes with a new two-hour retrospective documentary.
The heroes at The Criterion Collection continue to deliver quality work with the newest installment in the Eclipse line. The Lubitsch Musicals set comes to Blu-Ray with The Love Parade, Monte Carlo, The Smiling Lieutenant and One Hour with You. Most of the films come from new restorations conducted by Universal, The Criterion Collection, and The Film Foundation. The package contains a new booklet with essays about each film.
